Sprint Grandstand Partnership

The 2008 Kansas State Fair, scheduled for Sept. 5-14, is off and running with the announcement of a partnership with the major mobile service provider Sprint. This year’s concert lineup will take the stage in the newly named Sprint Grandstand.

“The Kansas State Fair is a time-honored tradition among Kansans of all generations,” said Jaysen Van Sickle, marketing director for Sprint by Wireless Lifestyle. “It’s a delight to be a partner in the Sprint Grandstand, a core element of the fair’s entertainment component.”

The Sprint Grandstand will feature an eclectic concert lineup for 2008 that includes classic rockers, a country rebel, a teen idol, glam metal icons and the original shock rocker.
